ذَٰلِكَ أَن لَّمْ يَكُن رَّبُّكَ مُهْلِكَ ٱلْقُرَىٰ بِظُلْمٍ وَأَهْلُهَا غَـٰفِلُونَ﴿١٣١﴾
That is because your Lord would not destroy the cities for wrongdoing1 while their people were unaware.
—Al-An'am - 6:131
