وَمَا وَجَدْنَا لِأَكْثَرِهِم مِّنْ عَهْدٍ ۖ وَإِن وَجَدْنَآ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَفَـٰسِقِينَ﴿١٠٢﴾
And We did not find for most of them any covenant;1 but indeed, We found most of them defiantly disobedient.
—Al-A'raf - 7:102
