فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهْلَكْنَـٰهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ﴿١٣٩﴾

And they denied him, so We destroyed them. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.

Ash-Shu'ara - 26:139
